Summit Brokerage Services, Inc, ranked the #1 Boutique Broker-Dealer in the Country for two years in a row* hosted their 2011 Summit National Convention for their independent financial advisors at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, September 22-24, 2011.

The theme of the three day convention, Become a Legend, focused on providing Summit’s advisors with professional resources and education to help grow a “legendary business.” Advisors were able to share ideas with peers, discuss new topics affecting the financial industry and meet with Summit’s Executive Committee and Home Office Associates. Strategic Partners from various investment and insurance companies led informative panel discussions, presenting key topics designed to cultivate the advisor’s practice. In addition to the panel discussions, the convention delivered featured speakers from various backgrounds – humanitarian and former Navy SEAL, Eric Greitens; author and speaker on America’s Centenarians, Dr. Steve Franklin; legendary NFL Coach and Super Bowl winner, Dick Vermeil and sales strategist, Tony Fadool. When asked how the Summit National Convention helps his advisory business, Summit Chairman’s Club advisor, Gerry Taylor, said, “You discover what other people are doing that’s successful and share your own ideas with them. In addition to the business sessions, advisors and their guests attended nightly dinners including an Awards Dinner where Summit’s Chairman’s & President’s Club members received an autographed football by NFL Hall of Fame member Coach Don Shula and a bottle of Vermeil Wines Super Bowl XXXIV Proprietary Red autographed by Coach Dick Vermeil. Coach Vermeil assisted Summit Chairman & CEO, Marshall Leeds in handing out the awards. Coach Vermeil stated, “Tonight you honor your winners.
